¡Feliz cumpleaños papá!

We celebrated Jeff's birthday with a nice family dinner and cake. Sofie really liked all 30 of daddy's candles.

Here I am on my first day back to work looking sad. I missed her so much that first day. I am so glad I only worked for two days before going on a nine day vacation. I really needed it, especially after being off for six months! You kind of get used to doing nothing.
Sofie's Nana bought her an early Christmas present. She loves being in her exasaucer.

Mi gordita

Yesterday was her 4 month checkup. She weighs 15 lb. 1 oz. and is 24 and 1/2 inches. She is so big already! Babs looked up Jeff's stats and said he weighed 17 lb. 7 oz. and was 27 in. He was a big one! She actually rolled over today! Jeff was here with her and mommy was out getting a much needed haircut. I couldn't believe that she decided to roll when I wasn't there. But as soon as I got home, we videotaped her rolling over. I love these pictures of her. The fancy "crazy hat" dress is the first dress I bought her when I found out the sex of our baby. I was just too excited.

Muy divertido

Sofie's first Halloween was exhausting! The day started with a trip the the zoo. Mayra and I decided it would be so much fun to dress the kiddos up and go early. Saul was so adorable in his lil' devil outfit, Sofie looked like a little Leia doll and Pricilla was beautiful as a princess. We had a blast! We got there so early that there was hardly anybody there. After the zoo we came home and had pizza for lunch. Mayra and I made yummy desserts to be enjoyed later that day. At six o' clock we got the kids dressed up again and went trick or treating at Burke and around our neighborhood. Ismael was dressed as a phantom. He looked spooky. It was nine when we got home. Everyone was so tired but we all had a great time.

I celebrated my birthday this past weekend. Daddy helped Sofie make mommy a card. It was too cute! He also bought me the Transformers movie and said it was from Sofie. I am sure you can guess who watched it first. My family had a surprise party for me. Awesome! My mom likes to have parties for us on our birthdays. She also treats us like royalty on our special day.
