¡Un chango!

We had a little outing to the zoo on Friday and had a blast. It was a little hot but we still had fun. Sofie started mimicking the monkeys. She would grin and dance while saying, "ooh, ooh". It was so cute. She also loved the huge fish tank.

Wow! She is one now. I can't believe it. I have a one year old! I read in a book that after one they are no longer babies they become toddlers. Well, what does that mean anyway? Unless, they mean that your child is completely transformed into this whole other little person you thought you knew. That seems likely. Sofie has started having tantrums. Yes, real, screaming tantrums. I know it is just too hard to believe so I will include a video to prove my point. In this video you will witness my sweet child throwing a fit because it was time to put away her toy (a five foot piñata of Snow White). This is actually one of her more mild tantrums but a tantrum nonetheless.
